Hello Color
I have, for most of my life, enjoyed color except in my wardrobe. Truth is, I let work dictate my wardrobe color as makeup artists are usually required to wear black and motherhood gave me a comfortable simplicity in my wardrobe that never truly felt right. So I said hello to color...
My wardrobe was basic, black, navy, white, and my favorite...gray. While I still love the basics, I have been having a lot of fun as of late with bold and bright pieces which my friends say better suit my personality. I found this piece, surprise, surprise, at the local thrift shop and with tags. And while the first time I wore it, it was as a swimsuit cover-up, wearing it with a mini dress (or a really long shirt, whatever) and out and about is a new of many new for me. Do I still enjoy the fast and classic 'mommy uniform', hell yeah but when I am out, let's go all out. And as for bold, mixing with printed heels just screams I am crazy but I am fun and that I am.
